Bianca & Josh | South Perth Yacht Club Riverside Marquee Wedding

Bianca and Josh's wedding was such a pure and heartfelt celebration of real love. I am blessed with some of the most chilled-out brides, but Bianca was one of the sweetest and most relaxed brides I've had the privilege of working with. The girls got ready at Fraser Park Suites in East Perth. The whole room was buzzing with excitement when we got there. You could tell she had so much love for the people surrounding her on her big day, and instead of having an all-female bridal party, she threw tradition to the wind and asked her best friend to be her "Man of Honour". The boys had their own excitement...they spent the morning making some last-minute adjustments to a belt with a power drill.The South of Perth Yacht Club was a perfect venue for their relaxed, nautical themed wedding and reception, and Floral Army decked out the arbor with pink and marsala blooms. Bianca wore a beautiful Samantha Wynne gown with a low back and slit that were just perfect for the warm summer day, and totally rocked her sleek, styled updo; Josh looked handsome and relaxed as he stood waiting for his new wife. Bianca arrived in a Lavish Limousine, took the arms of both her father and step-father, and floated effortlessly down the aisle to marry her groom. The sun was warm and the Swan River was a perfect backdrop for their beautiful and heartfelt wedding ceremony performed by Joe, the police chaplain. I've seen few couples with as much warmth and love for their guests and their whole ceremony was full to the brink with both.Afterwards, we took the couple just down the road to Bluewater Grill for some beach photos by the Swan River. On the way, stopped to catch some perfect afternoon light for the bridal party photos. The two didn't stop making each other laugh the whole time and I kept catching Josh looking absolutely smitten with his gorgeous bride.The yacht club set up a marquee right on the shore, with the breeze blowing through and a wide open view of the water and lighted LOVE sign by Vintage Love Letters on the beach below. The sun was setting softly as we arrived and the newlyweds started their evening off with some of the most beautiful and heartwarming speeches, complete with tonnes of laughter and happy tears - even a few from the groom himself. Guests were in absolute hysterics when the groom's Dad and best man took the stage and no one could say enough how perfect the two were for each other.Afterwards, I got the chance to steal the bride and groom away to the shore for some photos against that soft light, and they were adventurous enough to let me play around with some smoke bomb photos, which turned out stunningly. The evening commenced with drinks and nibbles, a full dance floor, and tangible joy that lasted until long after the sun went down.
