Alice & Sam | Swan Valley Wedding
Alice and Sam's extraordinary wedding day was a privilege to be a part of. You really can't help but love these two and how buoyant they are, a quality they definitely bring out in each other and the people around them.Capturing their wedding was a photographer's dream... Alice works for a bridal house in Perth and wore an absolutely exquisite mermaid-style lace beaded gown from Martina Liana with a custom made cathedral veil, and Sam looked equally dashing in an Italian wool suit by Calibre. The wedding was planned with so much care, down to the last detail, I felt so honoured to have been able to capture it all.
The ceremony was held at Matilda Bay on the banks of the Swan River, a gorgeous celebration designed by Infinity Weddings, officiated by Kevin Klune, and accompanied by Quartet With a Twist. Afterward, I ended up taking the couple and bridal party through most of Perth from Matilda Bay to Swan Valley and a variety of gorgeous locations in between, locations Alice and Sam trusted me enough to choose for them. We even stopped into Door 49 in Perth to get a break from the day's heat...where both the bride and groom jumped behind the bar to show off their cocktail skills.We ended the day at Mulberry on Swan, a gorgeous Swan Valley wedding venue on the river with tonnes of places for photos, and were able to catch the last of the sunlight in a field before heading back inside.
The reception was held in a room with floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the river, and was accented with handmade vintage decorations, love letters by Vintage Letters & Co., and a cupcake tower & cake combination from Sherbert Bake Shop. DJ Roger Smart got everyone on the dance floor celebrating that night and it was all capped off by a mannequin challenge put together by Red Empire Wedding Videos.
