Tess and Jeff's wedding was one of the most delightful, heartfelt weddings we've been a part of. The whole day a tremendous celebration of love, laughter, and new life and even though the weather was blustery and rainy, the two remained radiant throughout. These two lovebirds escaped to the southern region of Western Australia for their big day, in tucked away Wilyabrup at boutique Arimia Wines. Tess and Jeff have spent tonnes of time together traveling down south and it eventually became a place that held a lot of memories and meaning. Their intimate setting and understated celebration suited their chilled out personalities perfectly as well as encapsulating their love of down south wine country. The light was soft, the Aram lilies were in full bloom, the mood was set by stylist Miriam from Chic Rustique, and Jennifer Etherington delivered a heartfelt ceremony under the branches of a gigantic tree. The rain just barely held off as the couple said their vows, then came pouring down just as we and the party jumped into a retro Kombi van from Kuste Kombis. Neither Jeff nor pregnant Tess hesitated for a second as we took them on an adventure through dusty country roads and farmland (with some cattle looking on suspiciously) and clambering over beach rocks. The sun didn't make it out for long but the clouds were in full display and gave us some killer romantic shots that were to die for.Arimia provided the couple a private, beautifully catered reception venue overlooking Cape Clairault Ridge, and the two spent the rest of the evening celebrating with the people closest to them, complete with speeches, good food, dancing, and exceptional wine.
