We allow 1.5 hours for a family portrait, however when children are young the shoot tends to run until I can tell they have had enough. Therefore I work really quickly at the start while they are fresh and excited and capture as much of their interaction and playfulness as possible.

I have been capturing this family for about ten years now. This sweet little portrait was taken on the banks of the Swan River at Peninsula Farm in Maylands.
