Marissa and Anthony’s autumn wedding in Perth was incredible and full of big love, and I’m so honoured I was able to be part of it. With at least 200 guests present to celebrate with them, you could tell the two were incredibly loved.
Marissa and her girls got ready at the beautiful Crown Hotel, and Marissa’s hair and makeup were done to perfection by Stefanie Fiorda and Lisa Prestianni. She wore an elegant, fishtail style Demetrios gown and Lush Creations made bouquets that stood out beautifully against the neutral tones of her and her bridesmaids. The girls were transported to the ceremony in a limo from Perth Quality Limousines, and the boys arrived in a classic luxury Pontiac, chauffeured by Anthony’s father.
Their ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart Parish in Highgate. The view from the balcony of the bride walking toward her groom was exquisite and there were tears in the guests’ eyes as Marissa and Anthony joined hands at the altar.
The weather was beautiful for autumn, and after grabbing a few shots in front of the church, the party moved to Sandalford Winery in the Swan Valley where their guests enjoyed oysters on the lawn. The light was perfect for the bridal shoot and, as always, the grounds of Sandalford gave us so many options for the bridal shoot. The setting sun was warm and golden, the vines were showing off all their their gorgeous reds and oranges, and when the sun went down, it left behind a soft blue and pink sky as a backdrop.
Their reception was held in Sandalford’s Underground Cellar Room, one of the best wedding venues in Perth for a party. With wine barrels lining the walls, fairy lights hanging from the ceiling, and plenty of room for dancing, Marissa and Anthony had a reception that was both elegant and full of fun and laughter. Marissa and her dad followed up the speeches by heading to the dance floor and were soon followed by the rest of their guests.
