Jessica and David are a couple who are truly meant for each other. She is warm and vibrant, he is adventurous and loyal, and through their many years together have become best friends, world travelers, and partners in adventure. When I met Jessica, I developed an instant girl crush on her, and as she told me more about her partner and her wedding day, I fell in love with the two of them.
They had their ceremony and reception at Matilda Bay Restaurant, overlooking a bay filled with yachts and backdropped by a beautiful view of the city skyline. On a Friday afternoon in late spring, David watched his bride float down the aisle in her Tuscany gown, and these two best friends became partners in marriage. They held hands and said their vows underneath a handcrafted arbor (built by Jess’s dad), adorned with beautiful Blush Botanic wedding flowers, and exited under a shower of rose petals.
The restaurant provided pre-dinner drinks for guests as we took Jess and David off for some photos around the bay area. We wandered along the shore and away from the celebration, and the couple got to enjoy a quiet moment in each others company. As the two returned, the sun was setting, the lights on the water were twinkling, and the evening was spent with dancing, drinking, and general merriment.
